Call Nick Cannon one of the hardest-working men in showbiz. Along with helming a morning radio show and prepping to be a dad of twins, The America’s Got Talent host has recently added a nationally syndicated weekly countdown show to his plate.

During the week of April 23, he will premiere “Cannon’s Countdown,” which will broadcast on CBS Radio stations. It will also be syndicated nationally by Citadel Media. Featuring a mix of music and celebrity interviews, the program will be available in a four-hour version for CHR pop/rhythmic stations and a three-hour edition for urban stations.

Cannon is giving no hints about who his guests are for the first show, though he told Billboard: "Last week I spoke with Britney Spears and I had Chris Brown in the studio before that. Whatever is happening in pop culture, I'm there. CBS Radio has been an incredible partner. With the success we've had with my morning show, I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to reach radio listeners nationwide."

"Cannon's Countdown," which debuts in 24 markets, will be produced by Cannon's Ncredible Entertainment in association with CBS Radio. Those markets include CBS outlets in New York (WXRK), Washington, D.C. (WPGC), Chicago (WBBM), Atlanta (WVEE), San Francisco (KMVQ) and Las Vegas (KLUC).

The Web site cannonscountdown.com will launch along with the show. In addition to showcasing the program's weekly list of the most popular urban or CHR pop songs and streaming the countdown, the Web site will offer daily overviews of what's hot in pop culture.

Cannon, who hosts WXRK’s morning show "Rollin' With Nick Cannon,” also serves as chairman of TeenNick, a cable television channel for teenagers. Moreover, the actor/comedian/artist has an upcoming cable stand-up comedy special. The network and airdate have not been announced.
