LeBron James’s Mother Slapped With a Lawsuit
The drama with LeBron James’s mother continues. RadarOnline.com reports that the valet, who claims that the NBA star’s mom hit him, has hit back… with a lawsuit.
On April 12, Rockfeller Sorel filed a lawsuit against Gloria James for battery a week after having an altercation with her at the Fontainbleau Miami Beach hotel. Sorel is claiming that Gloria had no right to strike him.
As we reported last week, Gloria was arrested for “suspicion of misdemeanor assault" after allegedly hitting the valet parking attendant. It was reported that she’d become impatient about the time it took for the attendant to retrieve her car. The valet was not arrested following the incident.
Immediately after his mother’s arrest, Lebron told Miami TV station WSVN: "It's very sensitive, because it's your mother, of course ... you guys want to ask me anything else about basketball, I'm happy to answer it.”
The Miami Heat star has given no further statements.
