The morning show host worried how wife Mariah Carey would act.
In an effort to stay in touch with his listeners during his upcoming paternity leave, Nick Cannon gave out his Manhattan home phone number during his NYC-based radio show last Thursday. He later wondered if that was such a good idea and more importantly, how his wife Mariah Carey would react.
"Home phone numbers are just like Twitter anyway," he tweeted right after the reveal. "I use this more than I use my home phone. So what's the big deal? Think my wife will be mad at me? LOL ... I don't care I'm the MAN!!"
That was soon followed by another tweet: "My wife is going to kill me over this. Sometimes I get a little to [sic] carried away on the radio..."
But apparently Mimi took the situation in stride even after their home was inundated with calls. One lucky fan even got to chat with the singer, probably wishing the mommy-to-be a healthy delivery.
Cannon then took to Twitter again to acknowldege his wife's patience with his brash move."Thanks to my amazing wife for being a good sport and allowing me to make good radio. @MariahCarey you are the best!"
