Lady GaGa Will Donate $1 Million to Homeless Youth

The singer asks fans to help her decide on the charity.

Lady GaGa recently announced plans to donate one million dollars to charity and, according to MTV News, partner with the Robin Hood Foundation to help homeless youth in New York.

She’s also asking fans to join her in the process. Fans can go to GaGa’s Facebook page and help decide which organization — The Door, Hetrick-Martin Institute, Lawyers for Children, Safe Horizon or SCO Family of Services — will be  awarded $500,000 over two years.

On her efforts, GaGa said in a statement: "I'm thrilled to be working with the Robin Hood Foundation to distribute funds to help the youth of New York City ... NYC is my hometown and I think investing in these kids' future will go a long way."  The results will be announced May 9th at a special concert benefiting Robin Hood.
