Samuel L. Jackson’s Copy of “Avengers” Script Leaked
Screenplays of not-yet-made big budget film are usually—well, preferably—top secret. But that’s apparently not the case for one in the possession of Samuel L. Jackson.
Vulture.com reports that the actor’s top-secret copy of The Avengers ended up in the hands of a third party, who then tried to sell it to a writer for Obsessedwithfilm.com. To prove the screenplay’s authenticity, the culprit even leaked portions of the screenplay, including the first page (stamped with Jackson's name and the secret production title "Group Hug") and a scene from the middle of the movie where “Black Widow tries to keep Bruce Banner from Hulk-ing out aboard an aircraft carrier.”
No word of response has come from the film’s director/co-writer Joss Whedon.
Along with Jackson, The Avengers will also star Scarlett Johannson and Robert Downey Jr.
