Debbi Morgan

All My Children may be leaving the airwaves in September 2011, but one half of the 41-year old daytime serial’s supercouple "Jesse and Angie" might get the departing gift of Emmy gold.

Debbi Morgan, who originated the role of AMC’s Angie Hubbard in 1982, was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Also, the all-lady gabfest The View cohosted by Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd and Elizabeth Hasselbeck was among the shows nominated for Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment.

The multi-talented song, dance and game show host man Wayne Brady will host the 38th Annual Daytime Emmys live from the Las Vegas Hilton. The CBS broadcast airs on June 19th.
