Is the gag order she requested after her divorce about to backfire?
The Celebrity Apprentice diva’s ex-husband, Al Reynolds, filed paperwork on Monday seeking damages after she called their marriage "booty" on the March 25th episode of The Wendy Williams Show.
Page Six’s sources say Star Jones is the one who pushed for a stipulation in her 2008 divorce agreement with her ex that they would not make "disparaging remarks" about each other's "personal, private or family life . . . including, without limitation, the other's family, companions, dates, acquaintances, or future spouses." Her lawyers also reportedly "insisted" a breach of the clause requires the offending party to pay a $50,000 "liquidated damage penalty."
Now, Al wants Star to pony up the fee becasue she told Wendy about their nearly four years of marriage: "You know what . . . the wedding was fabulous, but the marriage was kind of booty."
Renyolds also names his ex-wife’s Apprentice nemesis NeNe Leakes in the court papers and refers to her as his “acquaintance” (although they’ve been rumored to be an item) and noted that Star also blasted NeNe to Wendy.
