The "Governator” Cartoon Is Scrapped

Arnold Schwarznegger’s animated project is put on ice amidst secret son scandal.

Of all the Hollywood projects that former Governor of California Arnold Schwarznegger lined up his post political career, there is one that just might not be back.

The Terminator star's upcoming cartoon The Governator has been indefinitely postponed. A rep told TMZ, “In light of recent events, A Squared Entertainment, POW, Stan Lee Comics and Archie Comics have chosen not to go forward with The Governator project.”

At the very least, the cartoon’s premise would have to be completely reworked. The plot revolved around Arnold’s character fighting crime with the help of his wife, Maria Shriver, and their four kids.

Since it was revealed that Schwarznegger fathered a secret son with his housekeeper of 20 years, the True Lies star has since announced that all his upcoming movies, including another Terminator installment, have been put on hold while he focuses on “personal matters.”
