Shemar Moore Sues Over Bike Accident

The actor filed a lawsuit for the 2009 incident that left him injured.

Actor Shemar Moore of CBS' "Criminal Minds" recently filed a lawsuit against two drivers involved in an August 2009 bicycle incident in Los Angeles that left him with various injuries. According to the court papers, Moore states that he was struck from behind after Phillip Randall failed to yield to him while driving a car owned by Florence Rosenthal.

 

The former model/soap star was taken to Sherman Oaks Hospital to be treated for inujuries including a cracked rib and broken leg, which resulted in substantial medical bills. He also claims that he suffered loss of income and incurred subsequent aftercare costs. He is suing the pair for general damages to be determined in court, but a date for the trial has yet to be set.
