Bradley Cooper on Tyson in Hangover II : "He Looked Like He Was Prepping For a Fight."

The film’s star says it was “amazing” working with the former heavyweight champion.

Despite being paid the least for his appearance in the movie, Mike Tyson definitely gets bumped up to honorary wolfpack status in The Hangover II. And the film’s star Bradley Cooper says the former heavyweight champion was all business in preparing for his mini acting moment.

“My memory of Mike is before his day of shooting you’d see him walking around, it looked like he was prepping for a fight. He had his headphones on and robe—he took it so seriously,” Cooper told BET.com. “And he looked fantastic, he lost about 50 pounds and he was in great spirits.”

The Brooklyn bomber’s cameo appears at the very end of the movie and just like in the first film he sings another Big '80s hit. This time around its the New Wave song “One Night in Bangkok.” And albeit brief, Tyson gets to stick around long enough for the film’s fun big reveal— the raucous pictorial sequence during the end credits.

“It was also good to have Mike in the last scene when we’re looking at the photographs,” continued Cooper. “We got to spend a lot of time with him during the shooting of the first Hangover and we really got to know him. So it was great to see him [again]. Mike was amazing.”

Hangover 2 is in theaters Thursday, May 26th.
