The cast members reportedly fist fight in Florence, Italy.
Details about the new season of Jersey Shore have been scant, but now at least one potential major storyline has been confirmed. According to TMZ, two cast members were engaged in a full on fight while filming in Italy.
Ronnie and The Situation got into what was described as a “MAJOR fist fight with each other.” The brawl happened on Monday night. TMZ pronounced Ronnie as the winner after citing visible bruises on The Situation’s face. Similarly, Ronnie was photographed with bruised knuckles. While the source of the fight is not detailed, it is believed a blowout between Ronnie and Sammie spawned the altercation.
MTV would not confirm the fight but did tell E! News in a statement, "Monday evening, Mike received medical attention after an accidental injury in the house. He was treated and is now at home with the rest of the cast.” Jersey Shore has yet to begin officially filming. However, the hit show's premiere date has been tapped for July 2011.
