VH1 Renews "Love & Hip Hop," Others For Second Season

VH1 has announced that Love & Hip-Hop and Mob Wives will both be renewed for a second season. The shows have had impressive seasons, with Love & Hip Hop averaging about one million viewers per week, and Mob Wives’ averaging 1.3 million viewers per week.

“Mob Wives and Love & Hip Hop are smash hits for VH1 … Our viewers have connected passionately with these women and their unique, authentic stories in the realms of pop culture,” said VH1’s Executive VP of Programming in a press release.

Season two of Mob Wives is slated for a fall debut, with an additional 12 episodes, and Love & Hip-Hop will also be airing in the fall but with 10 new episodes.  No news yet on whether there will be changes to the casts, although Mashonda and Emily have been vocal about their uncertainty in returning.
