It looks like Halle Berry could be joining many of her A-list acting peers by making the leap from the big screen back to the small screen.

Deadline.com is reporting that Berry is attached to a very hot drama series spec called Higher Learning that is being targeted to pay cable networks like HBO and Showtime.

The Frankie and Alice star is slated to play a college professor in the project that will be produced by DreamWorks TV. All the details on Higher Learning’s future (which network it will run on, when it will air and who else will star in it) could be coming down the pipeline very soon.

Hardcore Berry fans will remember that the Monster’s Ball actress actually got her start in television. She starred as a young teen model in the short-lived sitcom Living Dolls.
