We’re several months away from Oprah’s next program, appropriately titled Oprah’s Next Chapter, but already the now former daytime talk show queen is talking about prospective guests. During her appearance at NCTA’s annual Cable Show in Chicago, Oprah was asked about who would be her dream guests on her upcoming interview show on OWN. In response, Oprah said she was determined to land Susan Smith and O.J. Simpson.

Susan Smith is the South Carolina woman currently serving a life sentence for murdering her two sons. She infamously blamed a Black man for their deaths before confessing to the crime. Oprah said she would ask Smith why she chose to create a Black man as the criminal. She also added that she’s pursued both Smith and Simpson for her syndicated show for years.

And when it comes to O.J., she knows exactly what she wants to hear from him. Oprah explained, “I have a dream of O.J. Simpson confessing to me. And I am going to make that happen, people.” She also quipped, “I don’t just want the interview. I want the interview on the condition that you are ready, Mr. Simpson.”
