Comedian dishes on partying at Paisley Park, his love of hats and his latest film with Tom Hanks
Cedric the Entertainer stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Thursday night which made for entertaining show. The two comedians complimented each other well and when Kimmel asked Cedric about a party he went to where Prince performed, the audience was laughing out loud.
He first marveled at the contrast between Prince’s soprano singing voice and his baritone speaking voice. The comedian also confessed that while dancing on stage with Prince at a show he didn’t know all the lyrics to “Raspberry Beret.” Kimmel wanted to know why he wasn’t invited to the party but Cedric had no answer for him.
He did, however, gush about his love for hats. The comedic actor discussed his new luxury hat line for men. According to the King of Comedy, he started thinking of ideas for hats while in high school in St. Louis.
Also on the menu for the entertainer is a new film Larry Crowne with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, in theaters July 1.
