The New York native and rap star lends her support to New York City LGBT during Pride
Lil’ Kim spent this past weekend helping the gay community celebrate its annual pride celebration in her hometown of New York. Kim was reportedly spotted dancing atop an Asian-themed float while titles from her extensive catalog blared throughout the streets of Manhattan. Kim’s gay pride participation went into the night as she performed at the Latin Quarters nightclub later that day.
This year’s festivities were especially special given the passage of historic legislation legalizing same sex marriage in the state of New York last Friday. The Queen Bee has long been a vocal supporter of her gay fans throughout her rap career. On Twitter, Kim wrote to her fans, “Thank you Pride nyc!!! My G bf’s & gf’s are the best.”
