Source: Jennifer Lopez Was "Tired of Dealing with Marc's Bad Attitude"

PLUS: The singer plans to leave the country this week.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's announcement on Friday evening that they are ending their marriage (perfectly timed to minimize media impact) shocked their fans and has reporters scrambling for insight into their deceptively perfect-seeming relationship. Now, gossip site X17 found a source who claims that J.Lo has been planning to leave her husband for months:
"Jennifer has been very open about how much she is tired of dealing with Marc's bad attitude. She couldn't wait to make this announcement. She has been planning this for months but wanted to make sure her assets were protected before she files."
Foremost on Jennifer's mind, according to the source, is the well-being of her children:

"Jennifer has been really concerned about how the kids were going to react. They love their dad, but she wanted to make sure they grow up in a positive and healthy family environment. All of us have noticed Jen and Marc's relationship going downhill fast."
One thing we know for sure, Jennifer will have the opportunity to escape the media maelstrom surrounding her announcement by jetting off to the Ukraine this week, where she'll collect a $1 million check for performing at a private wedding of some very, very rich individuals. Her rep confirms the trip, but not the payday to E! News: "Jennifer will be performing in the Ukraine. Terms of the agreement can not be confirmed."
We doubt Jennifer would haul her famous booty all the way to Eastern Europe without the promise of a very large check, but let's hope she uses part of it for a little post-split R&R.
