Tragic news for benched baller Lamar Odom. The 15-year-old boy who was hit by Lamar's chauffeur-driven town car on Friday in New York has died in a hospital, TMZ reports.
Odom was in town to attend a funeral for his cousin and had hired a car service to drive him around. On Friday, the car—with Odom in it—was involved in an accident with a motorcycle, and the unnamed 15-year-old was caught in the cross hairs. He was rushed to the hospital where it was found out that the boy had sustained major head injuries. Doctors performed emergency surgery to try to save his life, but were unsuccessful.
Odom is said to be "devastated" by the tragedy.
