Since Amy Winehouse's death, there have been various different kinds of relevations surrounding the singer.

The latest one is she was in the process of adopting a 10-year-old girl from St. Lucia before her untimely death. Telling the UK paper the Mirror that Winehouse was already her mother, the little girl, whose name is Dannika Augustine, says she met the Londoner on one of her many trips to the Carribean Island. Living in poverty with a mother who is struggling to feed her, Augustine's grandmother says the singer already had the legal paperwork in order and was supposed to fly down sometime next week to see the child.

The girl is expectedly devastated by Winehouse's death, saying, “She was the most amazing person and I was looking forward to living with her here or in London. I cannot believe she is gone. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me.”
