The supermodel will act in upcoming drama.
Tyson Beckford has always had leading man looks. And once again they will be put to use on the big screen. Shadow and Act reports that the model-turned-actor will star in the Sarah Knight-directed drama Shady Creek.
According to IMDB, the story is about “a prisoner—out on weekend furlough—who becomes acquainted with the young son he has never met after returning to the town of Shady Creek, where he was convicted of a terrible crime 10 years earlier. When the daughter of the only witness to testify against him turns up dead, fingers immediately point to him, and only his son holds the keys to his absolution.”
Some are speculating Beckford will play the lead role of the prisoner. Currently in pre-production, Shady Creek is scheduled for release sometime in 2013.
