The Oscar nominee and The Matrix actor will mentor another superhero.
If anyone can handle being the boss of Superman, it's Laurence Fishburne.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the man who owned the role of Morpheus in The Matrix is reloading and has signed on to play Perry White, the boss to the iconic characters Lois Lane and Clark Kent in the new remake Man of Steel.
While Ted Danson has replaced Fishburne, 50, over at CSI, EW says the thespian will begin shooting the film this fall. Even though the actor who plays Superman is best known for his role on Showtime's The Tudors, the film boasts other big film names like Kevin Costner, Diane Lane and The Fighter’'s Amy Adams.
Christopher Nolan, who directed 2008's The Dark Knight and last year's monster hit Inception, is in the producer chair. Man of Steel is scheduled for a June 2013 release.
