Basketball Wives star opens up in radio interview.
Last Monday’s episode of Basketball Wives, where Eric Williams threw a drink in soon-to-be-ex-wife Jennifer Williams’ face, had some speculating about possible abuse—on Eric’s part—in the marriag. After getting negative press for the reality show move, Eric took to Twitter to say: “Hoes Hating cause I through HOE-LY Water on a Woman who had a Demon in her. I tried 2 Cast it out!”
But, of course, that did nothing to curb questions about the former NFL star’s behavior. So Jennifer took to the airwaves—specifically talking to radio host TT Torrez—to discuss the incident and Eric’s behavior on the show and in their marriage.
On the issue of possible physical abuse, the reality show star said, “He never hit me. He was never [physically] abusive.” Though she did admit that he tormented her in other ways. “Abuse can be mental and verbal,” Jennifer explained. “And his mouth is a little reckless. So I definitely endured that—but nothing physical.”
And for those thinking that Basketball Wives was what broke up the couple’s four-year marriage, Jennifer admitted that she and her ex-hubby had problems well before the reality series began.
