Basketball Wives cast member falls ill at charity event.
While Shaunie O’Neal voices her newfound disgust over the more sensational turn Basketball Wives has made in its latest season, one of its cast members was ill over the weekend.
Royce Reed reportedly suffered a seizure during a charity softball game on Saturday. The dancer, author and aspiring actress was taking part in Duffy’s Hope Celebrity Softball Game in Wilmington, Delaware when she pulled a hamstring muscle and went to sit down. That's when the incident happened.
TMZ says Reed passed out during her rest and onlookers said she suffered a seizure. Paramedics were called, but Reed told them that she was feeling fine and didn’t need to be taken to the hospital. She will make plans to visit a doctor once she returns to her home in Orlando. Reed told friends she felt a combination of exhaustion, stress, the heat and her diet caused the episode.
