“The View” co-host ties the knot over the weekend.
The last few days have been very romantic ones for two of the ladies from "The View."
Joy Behar married her longtime boyfriend on Thursday and her co-host Sherri Shepherd did the same in Chicago on Saturday, Us Weekly reports. Shepherd, 44, one of five hosts on the popular round table talk show, wed her television writer beau Lamar Sally, whom she's been engaged to since Dec. 26, 2010.
While they debate often the show, Elizabeth Hasselbeck and Shepherd are apparently tighter off-camera as the notorious Republican was part of the bridal party, which also included Community's Yvette Nicole Brown, 40, and Clean House's Niecy Nash, 41. There's no word on whether Whoopi Goldberg or The View's head woman-in-charge Barbara Walters were in attendance.
Never taking herself too seriously, Shepherd tweeted right before the ceremony, "What happens when you are in your wedding dress and you have to tinkle? Uh-oh!" She also shared photos of herself in a white strapless gown.
This makes Shepherd's second marriage. She was previously married to comedian Jeff Tarpley for eight years before the couple split in 2009. They have a five-year-old son together.
