The royal couple of reality TV, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, kicked off their wedding weekend with the usual hype at the rehearsal dinner Thursday night. The couple, along with eighty family members and about twice as many cameramen, dined in the private room of Scarpetta restaurant in Beverly Hills.
"Kim was wearing a short, tight white dress and was walking with a swarm of camera operators and production team members," an eyewitness tells Us Weekly. "She seemed very business-like."
"Everyone was getting to know each other," another source says. "Other than Kris Humphries' sister and parents, this was the first time that the Humphries family had met them."
The Kardashian sisters lived up to their fashionista reps by bringing out the short hemlines and Louboutins, but brother Rob Kardashian decided to be rebellious, and showed up in red sweatpants.
"Everyone else was completely dressed up and Rob was 100 percent the opposite," the first source says. "Kris' friend teased Rob about his sweats and how under-dressed he was."
During the toasts, momager Kris Jenner got weepy as she warned Humphries that he "better be nice to Kim!"
The couple are set to wed this Saturday, August 20 in Montecito, California.
