Hollywood has taken a liking to actress Naturi Naughton and "The Playboy Club" is their latest love affair.
"Rough is what it's like for a chocolate bunny in the rest of the damn world," Naughton's character Bunny Brenda says, with sass. "When they call me a name, it ain't 'chocolate bunny,' OK?"
Naughton plays Bunny Brenda on the upcoming NBC drama "The Playboy Club," which chornicles women in the early 1960s who work as waitresses in Hugh Hefner's iconic Playboy Club. The petite actress' character is anything but shy, as shown in the newest online trailer according to Shadow And Act.
When I heard I was going to play someone like Bunny Brenda, I was honored," Naughton says with a smile. "I couldn't wait to get her on screen and give it what I got … Brenda's got big goals and just because she's a woman or African-American, that doesn't mean anything."
"It doesn't matter what's going on out there, we're the safest, luckiest and richest women in the world," Bunny Brenda says to her worried co-worker.
"The Playboy Club" premieres on NBC on September 19 at 10 p.m.
