Comedian Michael Colyar is ready to fight the unfriendly skies.

TMZ is reporting that the Barbershop TV series star hired one of Rodney King’s lawyers to rep him in a discrimination suit against United Airlines. Colyar maintains his race was a factor when flight attendants kicked him off a United flight at Dulles International Airport in Virginia last week.

Colyar’s new lawyer Milton Grimes, who repped King after the 1991 videotaped police beating, won King a $3.8 million settlement in the case that helped spark the infamous L.A. riots.

Looks like Colyar might be looking for a similar payday or at least a similar court case victory for his injustice.
