Lanisha Cole claims producers verbally accosted her while she was nude.
The price is unequivocally wrong for one of The Price Is Right’s former posing beauties.
Lanisha Cole, the longest tenured model on The Price Is Right, is suing two show producers for sexual harassment, according to TMZ. Cole claims that the producers, coincidentally named Michael Richards and Adam Sandler who are not the famous comedian/actors , both abused her in the workplace. TPIR host Drew Carey is not being accused of any wrongdoing and is not named in the lawsuit.
Cole’s lawyers alleged that last year Sandler barged into her dressing room and berated her for not wearing a microphone. But during this encounter Cole was nearly nude “at the time she was completely naked and exposed, except for a very sheer thong bikini underwear bottom.” This occurred in front of other models and Lanisha’s lawyers maintain that Sandler did not “turn away or avert his eyes from her nakedness.”
Lanisha then filed a formal complaint with the show’s HR department, but got no response regarding the alleged harassment. She quit the show last December.
Cole is now seeking damages for sexual harassment, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Here’s hoping the sister gets it!
