Smartwater is giving a new reason to cool off: Actor Idris Elba is steaming up their new fall ad campaign.
The print-ad campaign, which will run in upcoming issues of GQ, Essence and Men’s Journal magazines, will feature the handsome Emmy-nominated actor in four different scenes that depict his lifestyle and the importance of Smartwater in his daily routine.
It’s Elba’s first ads for the water brand, but he initially joined its parent Coca-Cola Company in 2010. He accompanied 21 students from 12 HBCUs on a journey to South Africa as part of the 2010 Open Happiness Tour.
