Nelson Ellis Drops Hints about “True Blood” Finale

Actor says that character Lafayette is “gonna wreak havoc.”

“True Blood” fans and, more importantly, Lafayette Reynolds fans, get ready. The actor who plays him, Nelson Ellis, says that Season 4’s finale is gonna be the best ever.

Speaking with Access Hollywood, Ellis says that after he read the script, “I was like, ‘What the hell?’ The audience is going to be so pissed off because they have to wait eight months before they see what happens next.”

Offering a small opening, the Julliard-trained actor says his popular character will become possessed by the vengeful vampire-hunting witch, Marnie.

“I was like, ‘Damn it! I’m gonna get possessed again.’ I don’t wanna act like no woman,” he tells Access Hollywood. “Let me get possessed by a dude.” Ellis's character, coincidentally, is a short-order cook who is also gay.

The season finale kicks off tonight.
