Judge makes the actress a single lady once again.
After nearly two years and a restraining order, Stacey Dash is finally divorced. The actress, 45, made moves to end her two-year marriage to actor-producer Emmanuel Xeureb, by filing for divorce in January 2010.
Dash asked for a restraining order at the same time, claiming Xeureb beat her repeatedly in the face, head and body over the course of their relationship. TMZ reports that the divorce was made official last week.
Dash, made famous by her unforgettable role as Dionne in the 1998 hit Clueless, recently quit VH1's Atlanta-based show Single Ladies in August, saying "I have to be back in L.A. with my children right now and the Single Ladies shooting location makes that impossible." Dash also proved that turning 40 can be fabulous by posing nude for Playboy during that milestone year.
The marriage to Xeureb was Dash's third, and she's been engaged six times. She told Wendy Williams in March 2010, "you know what happened is I slept with all of my husbands on the first date, they said, 'Marry me' and I said, 'Yes!'"
Not to begrudge her the power of her, um, talents, but we just hope Dash chooses her next husband more wisely.
