Tamera Mowry Says No Kids Anytime Soon

Married and happy, the actress says she's learning a lot.

Last week, Tamera Mowry, who stars as one-half of the “Tia & Tamera” show on Style Network, stopped by Us Weekly’s New York office to share some inside scoop.

For one, she's happy she's not single. The 33-year-old actress, who married Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, 40, on May 15, says dating in L.A. is horrible. She explains, “I’m an actor but no offense, you deal with a lot of actors out there and we actors can be a little insecure.” In 2009, Mowry was romantically linked to Hosea Chanchez, who costars with her sister, Tia, on BET’s “The Game.”

Explaining she and Housley did not live together pre-marriage, she’s currently learning her new hubby likes to hang clothes around his man cave to air dry and leaves his shoes where ever around the house.

As for when she’s having children, Mowry says with a smile, “When my sister was pregnant, she told me everything that I needed to know about pregnancies so I’m not having kids anytime soon.” While babies may not be on the horizon right now for the star, she’s inspired by her sister, who juggles parenthood, acting and business simultaneously.

Nevertheless, she admits to bickering with her twin often because “we always see things differently.” Yet, she says, the show is teaching her how to communicate better.
