In August, radio host and comedian Steve Harvey and his wife, Marjorie, announced that their foundation would host a mentoring weekend for girls in mid-October. This weekend, Steve also teamed with hip-hop mogul Steve Stoute, BET exec Stephen Hill, CNN's Roland Martin, and ESPN's Stephen A. Smith among others to provide 100 New York City area teenage boys with some guidance of their own. Steve Harvey's Mentoring Weekend for Young Men in New York had the celebs appear in WBLS FM's Circle of Sisters and take part in a special edition of the popular game Family Feud at the Javits Center.

The Steve and Marjorie Foundation will host the Girls Who Rule the World Mentoring Weekend October 28-30. Teens will meet with influential women in entertainment and business and help the girls establish long term goals.
