Jayson Williams's Wife Dropped From Basketball Wives: L.A.

Tanya Williams has been benched. The estranged wife of former NBA star Jayson Williams has been dropped from the cast of Basketball Wives: L.A. after just one season. She was not even invited to the reunion special, TMZ reports.

Sources close to the production tell TMZ that Tanya didn't fit in with the rest of the cast and they often didn't know what to talk to her about. Producers had decided to phase her out after just a few episodes.

Williams is handling the news with grace uncharacteristic of a reality star (maybe that's why she didn't make it on the show), telling the gossip site that the split was amicable and that she "wishes everyone involved continued success with the show."
