Comedian suffers legal loss over 8-year-old.
Talk about a bad week. First Katt Williams was wrongfully accused of theft, and now he's lost custody of his daughter.
According to court papers obtained by TMZ, the comedian just lost custody of 8-year-old adopted daughter, Leanne, to former partner Crystal McGhee. It's still unclear if Williams and McGhee were ever married.
Nonetheless, the judge awarded sole legal and physical custody to McGhee. Williams was awarded visitation rights, but only on alternate weekends. The judge also awarded McGhee visitation with two of Leanne's siblings. It's not known if Williams has custody of Leanne's siblings—but he has seven adopted children altogether.
Williams has yet to comment on the matter.
