Divorcing and out of work, the NBA player takes gig with Sector watches.
Guess Kris Humphries did learn something from those 72 days he was married to Kim Kardashian. In a move straight from the Kardashian playbook, the ex-New Jersey Nets player capitalized on his fifteen minutes by signing an endorsement deal with Sector watches, and announcing it in a press conference.
The out-of-work baller even took the opportunity to earn some sympathy points from the public. "I'm happy to be here," he told a gaggle of gathered reporters. "As you all know, this has been a difficult time in my life, and I'm so grateful [for] my friends at Sector for their unwavering support."
Humphries' deal with Sector is worth $150,000 — pocket change in the Kardashian world — but the cash will come in handy since the NBA player is likely out of a job for the rest of the season, at least, and he won't be getting two dimes from his ex-wife.
Hopefully, his former mother-in-law and ex-manager Kris Jenner doesn't come after him for her ten percent!
