As we reported last night, Kobe Bryant and his wife of 10 years, Vanessa, are getting a divorce. But interesting new details about the split are emerging by the hour.
It already been revealed that the couple didn't have a pre-nup, meaning that Vanessa was entitled to half of Kobe's fortune. And via TMZ, Kobe's worth an estimated $150 million—far less than the $400 million that was originally reported. However, according to the settlement that the couple has reached in the divorce, Vanessa also gets to keep the couple's gigantic Newport Coast, California, mansion. Kobe bought the sprawling Orange County property 10 years ago, but it's unclear if he's living there at the moment or if he's already moved out.
The not-so-happy couple were spotted yesterday at a Christmas musical their two children appeared in, just hours before news of their divorce broke. Kobe and Vanessa reportedly sat next to each other during the show and left together in the same car. However, Vanessa was seen smiling, mingling and having fun, while Kobe wore a skully and dark glasses, spoke to no one and looked "somber."
