Wisconsin Congressman Apologizes Over First Lady Booty Critique

The politician sends Mrs. Obama a personal note for being “inappropriate.”

Mrs. Michelle Obama has been in the White House since 2009, but her posterior still remains the topic of discussion for some politicians who'd rather throw out insults than solutions.

Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, a Congressman from Wisconsin, was caught making some nasty statements about the First Lady. Fishbowl DC first reported that while in a lounge at Reagan National airport, the congressman was heard speaking loudly on the telephone.

After a woman approached him and praised Obama, Sesenbrenner supposedly said, “She lectures us on eating right while she has a large posterior herself.”

Realizing the err of his ways in hindsight, his spokeswoman tells Yahoo! News he sent the First Lady an apology in a personal note. He told reporters in a statement, "I regret my inappropriate comment, and I have sent a personal note to the First Lady apologizing."

There have been no comments from the White House.
