Erica Mena says the negative clip cost her modeling jobs.
Newsflash: appearing on a reality show can kill your legitimate career. Love & Hip Hop star Erica Mena is learning that the hard way. The model and video vixen, who found herself in the midst of a classic catfight (glass-breaking, hair-pulling, bleeped-out words) with co-star Kimbella Vanderhee, claims the brawl has had a negative impact on her modeling career, and she's blaming VH1.
Mena tells TMZ that she was completely misrepresented by the show's editors in the episode and made out to be the bad guy, while Kimbella came across as innocent.
"My whole image in my career is now affected by this," says Mena. "I wanted them to pull this clip because I don’t want to show this side of me."
Unfortunately for her, VH1 execs disagreed, opting for good television over saving her reputation.
