Can't get enough of Octavia Spencer? Fans won't have to wait long to see the Oscar winner on the big screen once again. Spencer's labor of love Smashed, the independent drama that made waves at Sundance this year, has been picked up for distribution by prestigious film company Sony Pictures Classics.

The film, which also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Aaron Paul and Megan Mullally, centers around a married couple and their problems battling the bottle. Spencer plays a major supporting role.

Sony Classics is known for putting out art-house and foreign language fare — and winning Oscars. Could this mean another round of awards for Spencer? We'll have to wait until the end of the year to see. At the very least, seems like this year's best supporting actress is maintaining her average of quality projects.
