Queen Latifah is one busy bee these days. Just days after announcing that she will star in the all-Black remake of Steel Magnolias, the actress-producer-model-rapper has hopped aboard another film project, the indie thriller House of Bodies.

Terrence Howard and Peter Fonda will co-star in the film, about a deaf boy who develops a friendship with a phone relay operator (Latifah), and then gets entangled in a series of grisly murders that must be solved by a detective (Howard).

Latifah and her producing partner, Shakim Compere, will produce the film through their Flavor Unit Entertainment. Production will begin at Flavor Unit's Miami studios this month.
