Could Think Like a Man climb to the top of the box office when it opens on April 20?  If studio testing scores mean anything, the film based on Steve Harvey's best-selling dating advice book has a better-than-average shot.

During a talk at Florida A&M University, producer Will Packer revealed that when the film, which stars Gabrielle Union and Terrence J among many others, was test-screened for audiences twice late last year, it scored off the charts (96% the first time, and a whopping 99% the second). He also said that Think Like a Man is the highest test-scoring film in the history of Sony Screen Gems.

Test screenings determine how well an audience responds to a film, and if Packer's numbers are accurate, Think Like a Man may have a decent shot at opening No. 1 at the box office when it releases later this month. Its only competition will be Disney's doc Chimpanzees and Zac Efron's romantic drama The Lucky One.
