The former Cosby Kid is now conquering Broadway.
Raven-Symoné has tackled nearly every genre of entertainment: television, music and films. Now the 26-year-old is hitting the biggest notes of her career as the lead in Whoopi Goldberg's Sister Act on Broadway. The Tony-nominated play has gotten a resurgence due to Raven tackling Sister Deloris Van Cartier. According to Variety, the musical jumped 25% in ticket sales since the former Cosby Kid joined the cast.
In addition to being a Broadway diva, Raven isn't forgetting her philanthropic work with Plan It Forward via HerCampus.com. A campaign from Merck, Plan It Forward helps young women plan for the future.
