The actress confirms she won't be returning to the hit show.
It's a curtain call for Amber Riley at Glee.
The actress, who played divalicious high schooler Mercedes for three years on the hit series, confirmed via Twitter that she won't be returning for next season.
"That's a wrap on Amber Riley," she wrote. "Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I've known day in and day out for three years. I'm going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday! I have so many brothers and sisters now :) But I am looking forward to a much needed and deserved summer vacation. SCHOOL's OUT Glee Kids! Let's play!"
Now that McKinley High seniors are graduating, it's unclear who else from the remaining cast will return next season. As for Riley, hopefully she'll take time off for some much-needed rest before jumping into her next role.
