The cast for Lee Daniels' White House epic The Butler keeps expanding.

Mariah Carey and Yaya DaCosta have joined the ensemble, which already includes Liev Schrieber, Robin Williams, Forest Whitaker, John Cusack, Zac Efron, Nicole Kidman, Minka Kelly, Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz and Oprah Winfrey.

Quincy Jones has also committed to composing the film's score.

The Butler is based on a newspaper profile of a White House butler who served eight presidents over three decades. The film is Daniels' third feature, after the award-winning Precious and this year's Paper Boy.
