Cuba Gooding, Jr. is no longer a wanted man.

The Oscar-winning actor was under warrant for arrest yesterday after getting physical with a female bartender in New Orleans. TMZ reports, area police have dropped the warrant after Gooding went to a precinct to answer their questions.

"There is no warrant," Gooding's rep says. "Mr. Gooding, his representative and the New Orleans authorities met this morning and are moving swiftly to resolve this misunderstanding."

Earlier today, TMZ reported the female bartender dropped all charges against the actor. Gooding is currently in New Orleans shooting Lee Daniels' historical drama The Butler with Oprah Winfrey, Nicole Kidman and a large ensemble cast of A-listers.
