Tameka Foster Slams Usher for Request to Delay Custody Hearing

Foster wants to "move forward" after the death of her son Kile.

Usher and his estranged wife Tameka Foster put aside their drama when a tragic accident befell Tameka's son Kile Glover, 11, but looks like it's back to the battle of the exes.

TMZ reports that Foster has lashed out at her husband in court documents responding to Usher's request to delay a custody heading for their sons Usher Raymond V and Naviyd. After the R&B star asked to push back the next court hearing in their heated custody battle due to "unnecessary stress and strain" for the family "in the immediate wake of this tragedy," Foster retaliated by accusing him of only pretending to care for her deceased son.
"[USHER] visited Kile in the hospital only once,” Foster claims in recently filed court documents, contradicting reports that he kept vigil with Tameka during Kyle's hospitalization. She also says he refused her request to tweet his fans to solicit prayers for Kile, blasting out a Twitpic of his breakfast instead.
Foster believes Usher is seeking to delay the hearing because he believes the judge will rule in favor of the grieving mother. She refers to the move as a "transparent sham" and is asking the judge to order Usher to appear at the next scheduled hearing on August 13.
Kile Glover, 11, died on July 21 after he was taken off of life support two weeks after he was struck in the head by a jet ski while wading in Georgia's Lake Lanier.
A source close to Usher said at the time that the singer was devastated by the accident, and that he had virtually raised his stepson "as his own." Usher reportedly chartered a plane for Foster to rush to her son's bedside when she learned of the accident, which occurred while she was out of town.
The judge presiding over the case has not yet ruled on the request to delay the hearing. The former couple is fighting for full custody of their two sons.
