After suffering a 3-inch laceration when Chad Johnson allegedly head-butted her during a dispute, Evelyn Lozada has a response to both her husband and all victims of domestic violence.
“I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me,” Lozada told TMZ in a statement. “It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well.”
After his arrest for domestic violence, Johnson told police it was Lozada who head-butted him during their argument on Saturday. He was jailed and later released on $2,500 bond Sunday morning. Johnson will soon go before a Broward County judge to face charges.
