Terry Crews on Mr. T, Sylvester Stallone and Expendables 2.
The Expendables 2, once again, assembles a cast of iconic action stars to kick some international tail. The second installment to this franchise, starring Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundren, Bruce Willis and Terry Crews, reunites the gung-ho troop of mercenaries to avenge the death of a buddy.
If this crew is reminiscent of TV’s The A-Team, then Crews, who plays the muscle-bound and attitudinal gunner Hale Caesar Stallone is the 21st century’s answer to Mr. T (who, ironically, was made famous after appearing in Stallone’s Rocky III).
BET.com sat down with Crews, a former NFL player, to talk about playing football versus dodging bullets on screen and how part three of Stallone’s Rocky series helped inspire his acting career.
