Florida judge officially signs off on the split.
It’s official. Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada are now divorced.
One month after Lozada filed for divorce from the NFL star, a Florida judge unmarried the couple Wednesday morning.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Johnson, according to a source, refused to sign the divorce documents, waiting until last week to file divorce papers of his own.
Since then, he had Evelyn's face tatted on his leg. He also insisted he would eventually repair the couple’s broken marriage.
But on Iyanla Vanzant’s life coaching series Fix My Life, which aired this past weekend, Lozada claimed the marriage was absolutely broken after Johnson allegedly head-butted her in the face during an argument over a condom receipt she’d found in his car.
Lozada even implied to Vanzant that there was domestic violence, on Johnson’s part, before she and he wed.
